Launching a new artist from zero to viral
Antoniu Tamas came to us as a talented singer with no digital presence. No following, no content strategy, no brand. We built his entire launch from scratch - audit, strategy, paid campaigns - resulting in a viral post that reached 107K views and established him in the Romanian music scene.
The Challenge
Antoniu had real talent but zero digital footprint. No established social media presence, no content library, no visual brand identity, and no audience. In the Romanian music scene, where new artists compete against established names with massive followings, launching from zero requires a very different strategy than growing an existing audience.
The challenge wasn't just getting views - it was building a credible artist brand from scratch while simultaneously driving measurable results to justify the investment.
Our Approach
Social Media Audit
Before spending a cent, we audited Antoniu's entire digital presence - his Instagram grid, posting frequency, content quality, hashtag strategy, and engagement patterns. We identified gaps: inconsistent visual identity, no content calendar, and zero paid amplification of his best organic content.
Content & Branding Strategy
We built a content strategy around Antoniu's authentic personality and music style. This included a consistent visual aesthetic for his feed, a posting schedule aligned with release timelines, and a mix of behind-the-scenes, performance clips, and lifestyle content to build a personal brand.
YouTube Ads for Music Videos
We designed and managed YouTube Ad campaigns to promote his music videos to targeted Romanian audiences - music fans in the right age range and interest categories. The campaigns generated 154K+ views at a great cost-per-view, giving his releases the initial visibility boost they needed to trigger organic momentum.
Meta Campaigns for Branding
Alongside YouTube, we ran Meta (Instagram/Facebook) campaigns focused on brand awareness rather than direct conversions. The goal was to make Antoniu a familiar face and name in the Romanian music scene. Results were mixed on Meta & Spotify - average CPMs for a new artist - but the combined effect of YouTube + Meta + organic content created a compounding visibility effect.
What We Delivered
A note on honesty
The YouTube campaigns performed well. The Instagram viral post exceeded all expectations. But the Meta branding campaigns delivered average results - CPMs were high for a new artist with no existing audience. We don't hide mixed results.
